UPCOMING TOURNAMENT! Its UKM IV guys!

UKM Debaters is organizing a debate tournament this coming July! 
The tournament details are as follows:

Date: 22 to 24th of July 2011

Venue: Fakulti Sains Sosial dan Kemasyarakatan (FSSK), UKM Bangi Campus

Accommodation: Kolej Pendeta Za’ba 

(Bus is provided from the hostel to the debating venue)

Debating format: British Parliamentary

To those who are interested to represent UiTM Segamat, do come for training. Selections will be chosen based on your performance and your attendance. Two teams will be sent. So we need 4 debaters, and one adjudicator for the tournament. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? COME AND PARTICIPATE! :)

We would like to invite all of the students of UiTM Segamat to our Debate Roadshow!!

This is a tradition event conducted by Kelab Debat & Pidato in exposing to you guys how we rock the floor!

It is basically a demo of how debat Bahasa Malaysia and English debate is like. We call it "sesi panas telinga". This semester, we also include pidato demo and public speaking's demo. So, come and see it live!

Kelab Debat & Pidato (KDP) is opening some slots for those who are interested in becoming the committee members.  The interview details is as follows:

Day: Monday

Date: 13th June 2011

Time: 8.30pm - 11pm

Place: Block U 010

Please wear proper attires (sahsiah rupa diri) to the interview. Those has worked in a society/club/organization before, are definitely most welcome. This interview is not for the English Section or Malay Section in KDP, but KDP as a whole. No debating experience is needed.

UniFest!

Feuhh! What a day! Despite the tiredness and the blazing heat, Alhamdullilah it was a success. We want to say thanks and congratulations to those who had registered to KDP. I'm sure you will find this club very very LOUD and just as amazing as what we have experienced it.

We are deeply sorry for any mistakes we might have done during the *UniFest. We will improve our booth and the exposure in the next semesters. Any feed backs are most welcome. After all, we debaters express our opinions. :D

P/s- To the members of the club who had helped and supported KDP during UniFest, thank you so much for your commitment.


*Unifest is also known as Malam Perkenalan Kelab & Persatuan (MPKP). However, it is slightly different. Unifest is a one day event of promoting the clubs in UiTM Segamat, Johor. We have our own booth, where we can decorate and be creative to attract the first semesters or any semesters students to join the club. It is the first time, UiTM Johor has ever done this kind of event.This event was conducted by the student council.
